  • Getting Fame up for Bastok and Sandy

I am a resident of Windurst and I know that Selbina is the best way to raise both other nations at once. I am wondering though if there is a difference between the sheep quests, ie will cabbage raise fame faster than millicorn? I am looking for the fastest way to raise fame, and not lose a ton of money at the same time.

I know different items give more fame..

this is what i THINK it is

    Moss - .3 points
    Millioncorn - .2 points
    Cabbage - .1 points

I don't remember, though. However, if San D'oria controls the Aragoneau region (or however it's spelled), there is a NPC near the fountain in Northern San that sells Millioncorn for like.. 48-50 gil each if you have no fame. He never runs out, too. The price decreases as you get famous, and the reward is 120gil for a stack of 3, so you don't lose too much money. It's how I got my fame up quick there. ^^

To get max fame in Sandoria and Bastok (this include Rabao as well), one option as stated above is to turn in Cabbages.

      Pulled from my LS's webpage:
You need to turn in between 2265 and 3025 cabbages total. After I turned in 2265, I had lvl 7 fame. After 3025 I had max fame.
If I remember correctly, this worked out to a 10k loss and was 7-9 trips to Selbina with 29 stacks of cabbages. Gobbiebags would shorten it up a bit.

I turned in about 8 stacks on the moss and now have about lv 6-7 fame in both Sand and Bastok. The trick is to find them at the AH for 7200 or lower and you can break even, or pull in a profit.

Thank you all very much, time to hunt some moss down.

          one other question.
the .2 gain for milicorn, that is per turn in right. not per millicorn?
