Well, for starters at your current level, you can kill rabbits for rabbit hides( trade to NPC for 120gil/3 hides ), kill bats for bat wings( trade to NPC for 200gi;/2 wings ) and bat fangs ( Sell in stacks of 12 for decent gil - ~1900gil on my server ), or sell crystals in stacks of 12 at the AH.

I also suggest you level THF to at least 15. You get gil finder(approx. doubles gil drops) and steal at level 5. So you can steal beastmen coins from almost all beastmen (these sell well in stacks of 12 - ~1000gil for regular beastcoins on my server), or fishing rods from Goblin Fishers. You can then sell the rods for some gil at the AH, or you can use them to fish for Moat Carp. Moat Carp will sell decently alone or in stacks of 12 at the AH. At level 15, THF get's Treasure Hunter I. This is a must for higher level farming. It increases the chances of items dropping.

Once you hit about level 25, you can start hunting beastmen for pure gil drops( and sell the AH worthless stuff to NPCs - can be eneough to cover chocobo costs sometimes ). First tier beastmen are ok to do at level 25, and only 1-by-1. Once you reach level 30, 2nd tier beastmen can be killed fast enough to be worthwhile. The key to hunting for direct gil drops is to pick beastmen that you can kill the fastest, and with the least waste of time. That's why 1st tier beastmen aren't as good as 2nd tier at level 30. If you can kill a mob in one to two hits, it's not worth pulling out your weapon.

If you would get your WAR up to AT LEAST 35, you can do tigers in Junger Forest for tiger fangs ( trade to NPC for 2100gil/3 fangs ), but you MUST have THF sub of level 15+. Not enough fangs drop without treasure hunter to be worth the time. It's possible to do tigers before 35, but they can be dangerous and aggro.

Once you get RNG, you can use RNG/THF to great effect for hunting NMs, like Rams in La Thine and Konschtat.

      Hope this helps.

actually, recently, i've discovered the best way to get gil is by logging. not sure if i'm the only one that really finds this method works but it works great for me.

go to Tamilia's Sundries and get a couple hatchets. empty your inventory and head to Gheslpa. Best times are early in the morning or late at night when people aren't on and go logging. Keep logging til both hatchets break or you run out of Inventory space. now... if you find elm logs, those sell GREAT. Like 2500gil each. Also, if you go join woodworking guil (in north sandy, just outside the port sandy entrance) now, if you got some wind crystals, you can try and turn some of the other logs into lumber. which sells good, too. that's what i've been doing over the last few days. almost got anought to get some really nice armor and weapons and earing and rings to boost me up (I've been wearing the same lame gear since level 12- how sad is that? been buying spells mostly)

so...take a craft and sell materials I find pretty easy to do. just make sure the orcs don't aggro on you and if they do, you can take 'em out easy enough. they drop items that can sell on the AH, too.

Also, on the crafting, if you get woodworking and a couple other crafts real good, you can make your own arrows. I made my own staff the other night. Not much use for it at level 12, but the fact that I didn't have to really buy the staff was nice.

Which NPC takes tiger fangs for that much gil?

you can kill tigers much earlier then 35... if i remember correctly i was killing them with ease at level 28 with war/mnk... i mean i still had to rest along while after a battle but i was never in any threat to be killed. for sure 30 no doubt.

as for money making i am not giving away any of my secrets hehe.. there is no get rich quick schemes in this game i dont care who tells you what.. the only way to get money is through lots of hard work and the more work you put int the more gil you will get out of it.
