Perpetual Hourglass Price

I know what the hourglass is for, but how much does it usually sell for, and where can you get one?

Most people that sell the perpetual hourglass sell it for 20k gil in their bazaar. If you see it going for any less, DO NOT BUY IT!!!!! Some people like to sell used hourglasses and sucker you out of your money. But if you're talking about the main hourglass, i think it's sold by a goblin at Castle Zvhal (this i'm not sure of, can anyone correct me if i'm wrong) for 1,000,000 gil.

Awe man....I bought one from someones bazaar for 17k, thinking they did'nt know what they had and I could sell it for more, so I've had it in my Bazaar for a few weeks now...I borrowed money to buy that

Haha its mean but I sold mine for 1000gil. Well for those whom read this, do not buy Hourglasses from bazaars. They are un-useable and people do it for fun and to make money because many people do not understand how dynamis works.

Than explain to us plz, how can you tell if it's used or unused.

You can't tell if it is unused or used from Bazaars until you have bought it, at the bottom it will say < -- -- --- --- -- > which means its disqualified.

Unless you pay 1 million gil to a Goblin Npc in a dungeon place ( I have not been a host, so I don't know the process), a useable hourglass will be given during the gathering of such an event. When you get one, there will be a time and date at the bottom. I believe the main host can duplicate 64 hourglasses to be handed out (not sure).

So dont go around buying hourglasses from bazaars.

Well..I'll either put it up for the max 99,999,...etc. to just display it, becuz I know alot of people stop me just to look at it, or would it be mean to sell it for 1k gil too? maybe other people want to display it too?:confused:

once again do not buy a perpetual hourglass from a bazaar...

nobody is going to give you a 1 million gil item for 20k i'm sorry

umm.. some organizers will put up the hourglasses in their bazaar to facilitate people getting them to go into dynamis.. it's a pain for 50+ people to line up and trade with the organizer 20k each to get one...

the 1 million price per main hourglass is shared among the participants.. thus roughly 20k per hourglass in the bazaar if you have 50 people for the event.

of course, you should really only buy one if the person is the organizer of a dynamis event and that you want to join it. Since there is a time limit on the hourglass, you'll be lucky to get anyone at all to buy it off you.

Yeah I bought it from someone's bazaar for 1k. I thought it was 1 million gil to buy it somewhere, and I REALLY want to make a profit.... but it does have the <--- -- --> at the bottom. I guess I'll just try to get lucky just like the last guy.

Have any of you reported this to SE? I would consider it an issue enough to be fixed in a patch.
