Weapon skill quest...

Where do you go to get the weapon skill quests? any requirments?

which one r u talking about? u have to talk to different NPC's for each weapon quests.

anyways, the requirements r 1) u have to be lvl 71 or up, and 2) ur skill in the weapon has to be more than the given skill level, which varies from weapon to weapon. (230, 240, or 250)

in order to complete the quest, there r 2 parts.

1st part is so called Latent Effect erasing;

u fight w/ the Trials weapon u get from NPC's, and everytime u use weapon skills w/ it, u'll get points as follows;

Solo WS: 1 point
WS+Lv1 Renkei: 2 points
WS+Lv2 Renkei: 3 points
WS+Lv3 Renkei: 5 points

u need to have 300 points total in order to get rid of the Latent Effect.

now the 2nd part is to kill NM's, which varies depending on the weapons.

if u can specify which weapon u r talking about, i'll come up w/ more. better yet, if there's an English site w/ full of these info and someone can point that out, that's great.

not really if u can get a friend to help u out. meaning, as Lv 3 renkei gives u the most bonus points, u r to use WS only 60 times, instead of 300 if u r to do it on ur own, if ur friend can use the WS that connects to Lv3 renkei w/ ur WS. in fact, that's what i did and finished it in like 3 hrs or so.

oh, and i forgot to mention this, but u have to fight mobs that scan as easy's or above.

Dagger WS quest

Requirements: lvl 71, Dagger skill 230 or up, and u r not undertaking other WS quests

Quest NPC: Jakoh Wahcondalo in Kazham

1st Part: as stated in the above post

2nd Part: as u successfully erase the Latent Effect, trade the dagger to Jakoh Wahcondalo, and then go to J-8,9 of the 2nd map in Gustav. checking "???" spawns a bat NM called "Baronial Bat" which has high evasion, and recommends 2 parties of lvl 70.

after u beat it, check "???" again and obtain "ŽŽ—û‚Ì?‘" (don't know how it's translated in NA client) every players in an alliance who is eligible can obtain it out of one fight.

go back to Khazam and talk again to Jakoh Wahcondalo.


Reward: Dagger WS "ƒGƒ”ƒBƒTƒŒ?[ƒVƒ‡ƒ“" ("evisalation"?)

unlike the other ws', the last ws' of all weapons r to be learnt through quests. and we call 'em "ws quests."

Monk's Asuran fists is learnt from Oggbi, the martial art master that gave you 2 AF.... apart from that I don't know much.... oh.. Katana's last WS is from Ryoma in Norg... you can guess the rest...

and from what I read, WS quests are usually just beat a monster get a rare/ex and back etc

Sword WS quest

Requirements: lvl 71, Sword skill 240 or up, and u r not undertaking other WS quests

Quest NPC: Curilla in Temple Knight's Quarters of Chateau d'Oraguille

1st Part: as stated in the above post

2nd Part: as u successfully erase the Latent Effect, trade the dagger to Curilla, and then go to Quicksand Caves. the entrance u should go to is Altepa Gate at I-6 of W Altepa. (need to know how to open it, which i won't talk any deeper at this time.) once in Quicksand, head to I-6 and find "???" checking "???" spawns a scorpion type NM. at least 2 parties of lvl 70 recommended.

after u beat it, check "???" again and obtain "ŽŽ—û‚Ì?‘" (again, don't know how it's translated in NA client) every players in an alliance who is eligible can obtain it out of one fight.

go back to San d'Oria and talk again to Curilla.
