Status Colors and icons

Has anyone noticed that everyone once in a while under the status sections that either the name of the skill or the level number of the skill will be a color? (example: My evasion combat skill is currently blue while my club is not) What does this mean?

Also, I've noticed that when I have the signet and have killed many goblins and Quadavs that in the bottom corner (where my hp and mp guages are at) there will be a small faded icon appear to the left of my play type (party or solo). I know that the chain purse in the right is for people who are peddling their wares however what does the other one mean (looks like some piece of armor but i could be wrong)?

Sounds like you are talking about the treasure chest maybe? That is showing that you have loot waiting to be obtained, like if you are solo and you have no room in your inventory you have a chance to make room before the loot is lost. If you are in a group, each person can cast a "lot" and you are given a random 3 digit number. The person with the highest number wins the item. Target yourself or anyone in your party, and then select treasure to see if there is any treasure waiting for you. If there is and you are soloing, then make room in your inventory or the item will be lost.

I just got back from playing a lil' bit and Area 51 is right about the treasure chest icon....


Does anyone know about the colors?

The "blued-out" skill colors seem to mean that you've reached that skill's maximum cap for your current job level. My hand-to-hand, evasion, and guard skills were blued-out for level 12, and I wasn't gaining anymore. When I reached level 13, it started back up and showed as white again.

i was wondering something similar, who are those people that are always sitting in a prticluar place, like in bastokmark there is like 6 ppl i regularly see that are sitting, not npcs cause i can chat to em like their PC's but their always there, their names are lue with that lil bag next to their name. Btw, what does that lil bag mean?

That little bag means that the person is selling items in their bazaar. Select them, then Check them, then go to view items in their bazaar to see what they are offering for sale.

The question didn't have anything to do with treasure. Thanks Vantage for the explaination. Does anyone know what the faded icon near your name in the bottom right corner (next to "Solo"/"Party") means?

Macht is right, that icon must be the one that indicates there r items in the pool.

when in a party, u have to "lot in" to get the items in the pool, unless the leader designates "master pool" which directs all the items to the leader's inventory.

if u see this icon when solo, that means ur inventory is full and items that monsters dropped r temporarily pooled. u should auto-sort to make more room for them, or give them up by selecting "pass" in the lotting menu.

btw, this has nothing to do w/ signet.
