  • Is it possible to sort white and black magic simultaneously?

I want to have whm and blm sorteed together rather than separately. For example, I want Dia, then Thunder V, then Paralyna, then Stone I. How do I do this?

Otherwise, I went to AUTO and it sorted my whm at top and blm at bottom, but i prefer blm at top, so does anyone know how to undo that?

I haven't found a way to sort all spells like that. Very sad. Hopefully I'm just overlooking it... You can sort each list manually, but separately, using the Magic menu in the main menu. But that doesn't do what we want, and doesn't work correctly anyway. It's one of the many stupid interface issues with this game. (But I love it anyway...)

Press "Ctrl+m" to get to your magic list. Then press the "+" button on the far right side of your keyboard to get to a menu with two options. Select the second option....

Once you've selected the second option, the cursor will go back to your magic list. Click on the magic spell you want to move (black or white) and move it to where you want it. This is the only way I can think of to integrate blm and whm magic together instead of having all white magic at the top, and all black magic at the bottom.

I "auto-arrange" myself, but I think the steps above should work. If not, let me know, and I'll play around with the controls next time I'm on ^^

If you don't have a keyboard, here is a way to do it also.
In ps2, bring up the main menu, like for menu or something, and go to magic. Then press Triangle, and it will bring up to options. One for manual and one for automatic. Automatic should sort out black and white differently, but I think they sort it like healing enfeebling elemntal and buffers.
Manual is quite easy. You select a magic that you want repositioned elsewhere, and click the space you want it to go. They will switch places, I am sure you get that, but i'm not a good explainer
Good luck nukers/ medics, have a good day!

            See ya on the battlefield!
