RSE Armor

People in my linkshell are starting to hunt down their RSE... What exactly does it do? For Tarus especially . And what level should I be to get it, and where to get it? Thank you.

RSE is race specific equipment that gives your race certain boosts that the race normally wouldn't get on its own. For example, Elvaans' RSE gives them big MP boosts and AGI. Galkas get a ton of MP as well. Tarus get HP bonuses and so on and so on.

The benefits of having them is for races that want to be jobs that they normally don't excel at. For example, Taru RSE helps frontline Tarus (jobs like warrior, paladin, dark knight, etc). Galka RSE helps Galkas become more efficient mages thanks to the MP boost, and same with Elvaans.

RSE is hunted on different dates depending on your race and gender. The three places that you might be ordered to go to are Shakrami, Ordelles, and Gusgen, and the quest time only lasts for a few hours. You have to find a treasure chest key for one of those three places and use it to open a treasure box there during your RSE day and get an important item, and trade that to the Gob in Lower Jueno. You need to have quite a bit of fame before being able to accept the RSE quest.

I used to wear the full set a long time ago but now I don't so I can't remember exactly. Wearing the full set is only good for Red Mages, really... since every piece gives a little bonus of something but gives you negative stats for something else, so in the end it just hurts you. Moreover, the defense the equipment gives is really, really, pathetically low. Anyway, here's what each piece gives you roughly:

Chest: 30-something HP and I think a small boost in CHR.
Gloves: I believe +3 strength, 12-something MP and negative a lot of other things.
Pants: 32-something MP, a bunch of other small boosts and minuses (only equipment worth wearing if you're a mage).
Boots: Some more MP... like 12 or something... I think AGI is added as well but there's also some negative stats. I think they were either MND/INT or DEX.
