Summoner Drop (Elemental Spirit Summons)

Excuse me, I was wondering where am I able to get more of these summons. I have only gotten one which is the Air Spirit. If you know where I am able to ge more of these summons please help. Thank You very mch.

I think you only get one elemental summon, and the creature summons such as ifrit and stuff are earned through quests.

No, you can get one for each element, but i'm not sure how to get them

I believe you get them by killing the tougher versions of the various elementals. For example you probably picked up the air elemental summoning stone from the air elemental you find in the Tahrongi canyon. So you would have to go to various regions to find things like fire, water, ice, etc. to get the others.

No, she got the air elemental as a starter summon. When you become a summoner, you get one elemental plus carbuncle. The rest you gotta work out yourself. I'm not sure if elementals drop those though. I know the drop those mega crystals but thats all.

New here and saw this post thought I could help a little =)


These summons have no ability menu and will cast magic of their element at random. You can use them starting at level one (as with all summons) if you use a Spirit Pact, much like other magic. They cost more MP to summon and drain more than the Avatars & Carbuncle. However the calling time is much faster. They also can cast ancient magic on the enemy, but it's very slow.
Most people simply use these for skill up.

Air Spirit - Dropped by SMN type Yagudo in Oztroja Castle, and Sauromogue Champaign
Ice Spirit - Dropped by SMN type Demons in Castle Zvhal Baileys
Fire Spirit - Dropped in level 40 or 50 BCNM battles
Water Spirit - Dropped by SMN type Tonberries in Temple of Uggalepih
Light Spirit - Dropped by NM Tonberry in Temple of Uggalepih, BCNM30(God coin), BCNM50
Dark Spirit - Dropped by NM type Demons in Castle Zvhal Baileys
Earth Spirit - Bought from shop at Norg 512 gil
Thunder Spirit - is still unknown.*

And no..you only get carbuncle when you start SMN, you can buy the Elemental Spirits from AH though as well. I bought Earth and Air.
