Many players are saying this is the worst job in the game but is it true? I met some beast masters with their masters fighting and it looked awesome~ :spin: :spin:

first off, there are no "bad jobs" they are all good in different ways. BST just happens to be one that isnt needed that much in PT's, and playing w/o a party is hard to level and usually not that fun. But, if you have some close friends who will PT with you no matter what job you are, then be whatever you want(btw, I plan to use all the jobs

There are no good or bad classes in this game like Chipmunk777 said. Its all about having fun with the classes you choose.
BSTs don't get into parties much because they dont have spells that help the group out like the Wht mage does. ( Well I think you knew that alrdy but.. meh )Everything must come to an end. And someday it's gonna be your turn. Even the world's gotta end sometime. Everybody leaves at one time or another. And everyone gets left also. That's just fate... It's sad, but there's nothing that can be done about it.-

I know a BST.
At lv 13 he could tame a creature that could probably kill me at lv 14. Very good for soloing and can hit pretty darn hard too.
Tricky to use but in the right hands very deadly.Hoppkins - Red Mage - Ragnarok

I wanna be a monk/Bst tamer
The animal tamer will be nice, but i was looking forward to the "Killer" moves they get...i will have to see them in action, before i pick em thoMy sister has multi pesonalities, when she called me yesterday my caller ID blew up.

They are not what you think if you are thinking of the skills called "Fish Killer" etc.
Just means they have a bonus to dmg versus certain animal enemys. Much the same Paladins have undead killer skill.Hoppkins - Red Mage - Ragnarok

lmao driftwood!!!! Thats hilarious!!!
Back on topic... I've heard that those "killer" moves add quite a bit of damage to the respective enemy. I've heard a range of things, from like, 10% to 50%... So i'm not sure...

Sounds like Ranger/BST would be very good. No magic, and expensive, but taming + ranged attack will keep you far out of harm's way. That plus "killer" abilities and you could be quite the machine ... plus, how Greenpeace would it be to wear the Ranger AF while frolicking with tamed Mandragoras?lol

Love being a Beast Master...great when you are waiting for someone to ask you to join their party, or if you are often unable to play for more than an hour.
I do find though, I always have to be alert when my pet is around, in case he turns on me while I'm recovering or something.
And when I'm with a party, I almost never use a pet, but use my charm command as a last resort if it looks like we're going to die, or if we gut ambushed by some other creature mid-battle. :spin: At these times I'm am really grateful I became a Beast Master.
