Even with the flooding... If someone random players (and there are a lot of "random players" out there D decide to put up their shells at 600 the AH is going to sell that first and it'll ruin the sell history. I don't think this will be very easy, but uh...good luck? :D

I dunno..........Terianstar has successfully sold some shells at 1000gil at the Jueno AH, so its not like it is "impossible". Perhaps if someone had tried this before, on as large a scale as we are trying to get, then your analysis would have some validation. Besides, I'm willing to take a gil loss if it means I the plan could work.

You know, you guys are going to waste hours trying to fight for this lost cause, and in that time you would have been able to make twice as much money a different way.

If you're really going to make this thing work, you'll need someone who is willing to camp the AH so that he can buy the cheap 600g shells as soon as they come in stock. That way, only your 1000~1500g shells will be in stock, forcing people to buy your overpriced shells. Of course, that person camping the AH will end up losing a lot more gil than gaining, and I'm sure over time the price will fluctuate back down to 600g anyway. Just find another (established) method of exploiting. Shell hunting is out of style.

Items are more expensive in Jueno becos of the high tax. Terian may have sold at 1000gil but i bet he got taxed and it would be better off to sell it cheaply at the kingdoms AH. The quadavs shell are cheaper, cos there are other new shells for guild. These new shells are slightly more expensive.

Keboob price went up to 4400gil becos of the tax and it wont go down:mad: , there are still some pple bazaaring at the 'original' price of ~3500gil.

IT is also the TAX in Jueno u cannot combat. 12 water crystals 300gil in Bastok, but it is 1k gil in Jueno.

maybe he miss read me, i said i put a shell in for 1k at the bastok AH before i left to train my blm to be able to ride chobi =P, soryr for the misunderstaning =P

Regardless, people have to buy shells for some quest or whatever. the fact that my 1k sold is proof of that. being in acc101 i figured that the AH system uses the FiFo (lfirst in first out) in any case the shells that we put are mostlikly going to be bought =P

sales tax and the cost of ingredient could affect the price in any AH... (500++ gils sales tax in jeuno for kabob)

AH system changed? It should be the cheapest price put in for gets sold first.
