I nearly put UK+NL, considering the amount of dutch I know, but that'd be unfair.

How are you guys going to get this? Seems that on Sep16th is when they release FFXI with Zilart+CoP together. Would be nice to get CoP separately. I guess importing again will be the answer, just wondered if anyone knew anything else so we could avoid buying that bundle. ;x

If you're using the NA version now, you'll have to have an NA version of Promathia key to register for your NA account. So you're pretty much limited to importing the NA version.

Unless you want to ask a friend who has the EU version to let you borrow the all-in-one discs, reinstall everything, and then purchase an NA version through a friend and ask that person to email you the key (which would save you a few days of shipping delays)

I considered importing the expansion at some point, but after thinking about it some more, it just seemed like less hassle for me to buy everything again once it's out in Europe. Norway likes to rape its citizens with high importing taxes, so simply picking it up at a store will actually be cheaper than purchasing NA CoP and paying for a friend/company to ship it here, not to mention how annoying it would've been to listen to LSchat about the new areas while I was waiting for the package to arrive. Plus, it'll be nice to register with my own address and not have to call California at inconvenient hours if I ever require some sort of customer service.

On the 16th of September there will be a package that has everything in it (basic ffxi+ziliart+proma) available for around 40 euros here.

So i'll just buy the new package here so that the software is all EU and use my imported account on it. That way I dont have to order for probably more then 40 euros and get less. Other advantage is that I will be able to play the expansion the day it comes out instead of maybe a week later.

Well when I tried to use the NA Expansion (zilaart) with my JP account, it said I needed a JP serial code so that might be the same case for you

With the cost of importing it will probably work out only marginally more expensive to buy from EU company (play.com is usually best)
Plus it would be easier to patch up since it would be up to date... [I think?]

Well duh, I had to do the same thing.. and I had to import it twice cus the first one got lost on the way >_<
