Am I wrong?

I was in a pt today and I had a little deboggle with someone. The pt consisted of 2whm 1thf 1 mnk 2 war and I was one of the WHM. In the pt i noticed while in the jungle fighting mandragoras it took us a long time to defeat them. So i checked the weapons of the fighters. Only one of them had a weapon over a lv 20 in a pt of lv 27-28. I then said to the pt it is going to take a long time to kill these guys bc of this problem. Then the thf replies by saying "well nobody else has complained except for you" which i thought was rather rude. That was when i started to get mad bc he kept harping me bc i said something. Naturally i did respond back saying things like "nobody likes a person who doesnt keep up with his armor and weapons." After a minute of this i just said "Sorry i am not dealing with this guy fsorry for the inconvenience" (to the pt) then i left. He then proceeds to bagger me after this and crack down on me bc i left and was asking me to come back bc we only ahd 20 mins before server maintenance. Did i do the right thing in leaving bc i have never encountered someone this mean in ffxi?

Yea, you did the wrong thing. Next time, put the player on your blacklist instead of ruining everyones time by leaving a PT because you can't get along with someone.

I "partied" yesterday with a DRK who refused to renkei. My favourite part of the conversation was her saying "I'm a DAMAGE DEALER not a MELEE FIGHTER" and then just nuking with fire.

The party got wiped out shortly afterwards, all except the DRK. I have no problem with noobs if they want to learn about the game and become the best at it that they can, but morons just shouldn't be tolerated by anyone.

Thus ends this rather random post.

And yes, exactlly like Rekiem stated, ignore the one person and move on for the PTs sake.

Ive had a prob like this when a PLD got mad because are thf didnt use daggers (at lvl 34 in GC, i can let that slide) but he got pissed and left for an obvious stupide reason, screwing over the PT..
