Ragnarok's gil sellers?

A few days ago i noticed about 5 people in buburimu, each with a name starting with Ls, each with Rank 1, each with lv15 Thf sub (no higher), and each with terrible eq. I usually see them all mass killing the crawlers and dhamels there. Ive also noticed that theyre there just about 24/7, having been there multiple times to log, and doing '/sea all ls' out of curiousity. Anyone else noticed them or can disprove my theory?

HPC and Logitech are a well know, botting, gil selling combo.
Don't personally know many others but i'd think fishbotting would be a more popular method for this.

Logitech and Zhuque are constantly doing this kind of thing but they won't cause you any problems at all. I constantly beat Logitech to the targets without any problem, because he doesn't have any kind of taunt ability.

I saw a bunch of differen't kind of players in Oztroja, I dunno if there bots to or whatever but I took two pics.---


If you notice Marl is 39RDM/WAR1(<---Has Range ACC+ rings equipped) and Qter is Monk 40.


In this Yamade is level 39Rdm and Yang is level 40 Thief with no sub.

If i'm not mistaken they use scripts to hunt. It's possible and i've seen it before. They just make a bunch of characters and leave them on all night. They rest when low on HP, autotarget crawlers, ect. You might not know but ffxi can get hacked pretty bad.

And Seymour yeah it exsist and they target things based off of ram codings and crap but i'm not exaclty sure i'd call it hacking. Despite the numerous botting programs i'm now aware of i still don't feel this game is hacked.

People wouldn't be selling gil if there weren't so many buying it.

Of course, they are buying so much because greedy people would actually accept blatantly bought gil.

i never said i am against it, i actually find it funny that i saw logitech farming light clusters on top of defk the other day while i was helping out jm8. it's kinda pathetic, i am also amazed by the script (my guess is they use picture comparison for scripting) on what they can do.

and "ThE gIl" not a penny of that gil is spent for me

The bottings simple.. I beleive with auto-it, you can pixel notify, meaning see this here kill that. And with java script botting it could easily know what to do, I use to play diablo II and there where ways of botting everything about that game, and they eventually became publicly available, just hope this game don't get ruined so fast

saw another group in qufim (i think) they were all lvl 24-25ish with half decent equip (i.e. sensible equips for their job/level and occasional +1) but they were still hunting crabs just at the exit to qufim island itself (first tunnel)

i'm almost certain they're scripted as the whm used nothing but cure3 (no debuffs, no bars, no status cures) and they were all rank 1 as well

they were there for probably 2 days straight.

i have no idea what would happen if one of them died though, and they were pulling crabs from a reasonable distance (up to the cliffs on the left hand side)

i don't like to say it because i know some people absolutely despise missions, but i feel there should be a "rank limit" on certain areas, without which you cannot progress to (e.g. rank 2 for qufim, rank 3 for kazham seeing as you'll have most likely been to the 3 areas for keys anyway, etc.) the only problem this would cause is maybe for those people who like to level outside of the normal areas (e.g. yhoat gobs near cauldron at ~45, altepa ants and beetles at ~32)
