Yeah, we all know that 300 exp is the max..... but This is harder, couse if you want that chain you need to kill a monsters 13 lvls higher than the party in about 1 minute after the chain4....and is not that easy...

well anyways we had a few large trains....

and we had a Chain 6 for 4 xp...

how is 300 max xp if the chain can go past 5?

Because to chain 6 you have to kill the monster 30 seconds after the chain 5... and in order for the exp to surpass 300 the monster would have to be like 15 level above the party.

Pretty much impossible.

I thought i read somewhere that 300 was the cap, no matter what. 5 Chain and everything afterwards has the same exp bonus and time limit, according to the exp guide on this website, it's stickey'ed in one of the forums.

Damn Drako. He told me he chained 300 exp consistently over and over again...
Then when my set PT was mad chaining 220-280 exp on every monster I was enjoying it but not suprised. Drako ruined my flavor. He's a funny guy though.

My memory sucks, but I think our set party at least pushed 300 once or twice, we got well above 280. I do remember getting 200 solo at level 8 whm.

You're sorta right Cel but he's actually telling the truth about constantly getting 300exp. BST PTs are insane and very easy to get 300exp when you have a few other BSTs. Just try it one day (many many people haven't) and you'll see.

Drako invited me into a Crawlers nest PT. It was just him and another BST. I think our levels were like 40ish or someting and I was a WHM. I joined in and it's like 200>260>280>300. I've never actually hit 300exp in a normal level up PT. I hit my record of 5 chain 288 exp last night but he's not lying about his 300exp chains.

At chain 5, the exp rate is 1.5x the exp the monster gives, essentially giving you 50% more exo of what you would normally get. Everything after chain 5 is also 1.5x, no increase, just a pretty number. You can chain 50 monsters, and the max will still be 300 exp.
