Lookout for this player...

My sister (Reminiscence) recently ran into a player who gave her many problems for something she tried to help out with.

This player asked her for a raise during a party in Kazham and she went out to try and raise him and another in his PT. Sadly the pt was surrounded by gobbies and she died trying to raise them. She could not get a raise herself and had to go back to Kazham home point.

This is where things got ugly. The person then got mad at her and switch to his/her high level character and train goblins and other higher level mobs past her pt trying to kill her. Then he/she began to /shout about how my sister was bringing the trains and was the ones getting everyone killed and to report her about it.

Then he/she began to follow my sister around and steal all kills her pt was trying to get.

While a GM has been reported on the issue, I felt the need to post about it... but I ran into a problem. This person posts on this forum and has posted in the past couple of days. This is why I tried to be kind enough to not reveal the name, yet.

I'm not sure if this topic will be deleted or not sure if posting about such people is allowed in the forum. :\ But I saw the post about Tinytaro and decided to just risk it. So I'm sorry in advance.

Observations:

If you're not going to say who it is, then this thread is a waste of time. Either accuse all the way, or don't accuse at all.

Having said that, on forums there's always the element of uncertainty. If this person posts here, when he reads this he will undoubtedly post something totally different from what you've said.

So when/if he does do so, who are we to believe? There really isn't any sure way to tell who is right and who is wrong, or who is bullshitting and who is telling the truth. Chances are both sides start bringing "friends" to defend their story and talk shit about the other side, and it'll degenerate into one big steaming pile of flames.

Heh, I see your point. So I might as well just say so.

The character was Teejay. So if you see him or her please be weary about your actions around him.

And if the topic does break out in flames. All the more reason to close it. I will feel fully responsible and will move on.

I've no idea how others feel about this, but I'm personally very appreciative when I get a heads-up. I hope others continue to post stories about players they've had issues with. I won't judge a player based on a single anecdote, but when the same names keep popping up...
The only way these players are gonna learn that just because you're anonymous doesn't give you the right to be an asshole is if the community recognizes and shuns them.
I have no personal experience with teejay, but it is a name I've heard others bitch about before.

I was setting around the other day... LFG, and someone i pt'd with once apon a time tells me WATCH OUT FOR THIS PERSON!!!

I dunno who to beleive so i take no regard to the statement...
LS friend was hunting some nm or other with the person i was told to watch out for.... aparently they stole from the guy warning people about him....

Moral of the story? You never know who's right in thses situations.... for all we know the topic poster just got pissed off and wants revenge, although he could have real reason to post... we don't know

Yeah I too don't think Teejay would of done that, but I'm not saying he didn't do it. >< but I don't know, I can't say anything I wasn't there to see it happen or anything.

I've been in Yhoator this week and I have seen Teejay running around naked, so it's probably true. A couple shouts about someone bringing trains too with the Reminiscence name.

#4- Teejay's character is way above being killed by those puss gobs in the jungle.

#5- Ever since the NA release, this sort of thing happens. Nothing we can do about it now, get over it and move on. You died with a level 30 jobs... whoopty doo.

Besides, there are 2 sides to every story. If/when Teej finds this thread, then he can say what he did, and why (if he did it)

Indeed, and I don't just want my story to be heard. I understand that I would get a lot of odd looks or people not believing, but I would do the exact same in your shoes.

Again, all that can be done is for someone to decide to believe or not. I cannot prove either way. Sadly, we don't have less means of fabricating "evidence" to help show my side of the story. Only the GMs can really see the truth in the matter.

And I'm siding with Veskar really. Teejay seems like a really nice guy around the forums, so I don't quite see why he would do such a thing. So who knows, hopefully Teejay will post soon.

Sadly, these kind of posts are the only ones that disappoint me. I care, and many other people do care when someone takes wrong actions against them. Also the character is not Teekay, I was watching my sister playing and helping her out witht he situation. Since she did not know how to call a GM and such. Also, didn't I say that he was levelling another job at the time? I'm sorry if that did not come out clear. And lastly, my sister is not mad about dying. She could really not care at all. It's just that she was harassed quite a few times because the person wouldn't get over the situation.

I skipped over the statment about Teejay being a good person. More likely than not I'll agree with you, and again from what I've seen around the forums he seems like a really nice guy. That does not mean things can happen. So again, I would like you to not serve judgement without seeing his side of the story either. Whether he says the same as I or differently. It'smore like you just threw away my story as fodder and moved on. But I guess I should expect that.

Thanks for any heads up. Honestly the only people that I care enought to report to GM's are the people in Souther San D'oria who con you out of your money by closing their bazaar :mad:
