People with good sense do not believe everything on 2ch unless they've seen it for themselves.

Most normal people don't even read 2ch, even if they do, they won't congress at a "harmful people" forum that is bound to be full of anonymous slandering. Even the posters at that forum admitted that much, and from the looks of it there's about 5-10 JP posters who keep replying to everything. Not that many people at all.

So if you are wondering, "what could I possibly have done to end up there?"

Chances are: name association or your bling bling

Other high level players are often jealous of equipment or something else you might have gotten. Something they wanted. Then they see you and your buddies hanging out together and think "hmm, I hate them all".

The fact that there is a whole 2ch forum dedicated to The people with Scorpio Harness on Rag server says enough about underlying envy between players.

You would think it would be more than just a game to someone, if they get jealous of your equipment, or if they see someone hanging out with there friends.

I've been thinking of making a topic in this board to list shitty Japanese players. Not like 2ch where we would anonymously be bashing people out of jealousy or because they don't speak the same langauge but genuinly shit players. Take for example Julious. Level 70 Red Mage, no AF, only sub is Dark Knight and has the play skill of a miniature barberry ape.

Where did that quote come from? Was that from Arvy or from a JP? I couldn't find that post. Anyway good equipment = arvy doesn't make any sense. Last time I checked Arvy only wears 32,500gil worth of BLM equipment. Even most NAs are packing on 10x more than that-- Not to mention only 1 ring and the other one is a level 10 int+2 one. I'm not bashing or anything but just telling straight up facts. That's why I'm wondering who the hell said good equipment = Arvy :confused:

Of course, I have a feeling if I did this the point would be lost on certain people thinking it was just to create wars, locked by Tomoh and 8 warning points for me.

actually Russ, a friend and I have considered making a board like
2ch's for the NA (this includes the people that think they're better players because they live outside the US) users. However, I'm not sure I want it to be an anonymous board either.. As you said, a thread here for that purpose would likely be shut down before it could even get started, but a public BBS may get little recognition.

Um im not positive exactly where it is but arvy posted talking about his black cloak and serket ring so i think thats where they assumed he had all good eq... even though black cloak is like what, 150k now? :spin:
