Roleplayers?

Just a post to see if many people like to roleplay?

I've met just one person that likes to roleplay which was a lot of fun at the time, but their appears to be a severe lack of roleplayers. Not a terrible thing as such but i'm sure there must be others out there that like to play in role every now and again for a chuckle.

Makes a break from all the ubah l33t sp3akz.

OH WOW! what a big bird lets kill it!!! it might be Very Tough but it cant withstand the attacks of my sword!!!

Dude... That was possibly the dumbest example of roleplaying I'd ever heard of u.u;; What did you expect me to do?

But yes, that was an example of RolePlaying, and people who do that do need to be shot. Just had to shoot you to for coming up with the idea

And it's a matter of "won't" answer, rather then "can't". And if you think I'm being rude without justification, then just look at your little post O_o; You are infuring that us RolePlayers are idiots who run around and attack things way to strong for us just because we are 'Role Playing'... What kinda deluted crap is that?

Now, if you truely do now know how to role play, and ment no offence in your comment, then I appologize for being rude back to you.

RolePlaying is just that... You are pretending you are your character. None of this 'Oh, it con's totetote to me.' Or, "Man I need one more lvl so I can learn Dispell." You pretend you are really there and are the character... So, it would be more like, "Ooh, I think I almost got this Dispell down pat, if I keep practicing it at home I think I will be able to cast it in a battle soon!" u.u; Just role playing... *shrug*

heh, after reading my first post i relized i didnt state if properly. What i ment was, Was this an example of role playing because this is what i heard it was. That example i made was what i heard what people say it is, not my own of what i think it is.

The majority of English speakers RolePlay being an "idiot", if that counts.

Roleplaying is where you speak in the style of your chosen character. Elvaan being selfish, moody and arrogant etc.

About the only role play that I have seen are JP Tarus. They would speak in a slang/cutesy way and use emote like crazy. One would do a victory dance after every battle until a PT member told him/her to sit down to recover MP

Thats the stuff! You don't have to say "Thou" or "Thee" every sentance or "Swear by your fathers grave to avenge him by slaying the shadow lord!".

Just have some fun and try to act a little like your character rather than a human behind a computer. If your not into that then fine.
