I guess I'll vent off some of my frustrations here as well.

I was an importer as well, started november of 02 had the pc version ordered right when it came out. Started as an elvaan warrior, and no idea why I undertook the most boring job as my first main job. Took a couple weeks break here and there, but I really got tired of warrior even before I hit lvl 30, and I gave up on it. There was no translation systems, I barely understood a word of japanese, and when I got my subjob, I subbed and underleveled whm D:

I rarely got any invites once I got into qufim, (now looking back at that horribly udnerleveled whm sub, I know why) and practically gave up on the game itself. I tried starting over a couple months later, finding out that NG broke because of several problems. The first person I spoke to was sey, and I distinctly remember that moment when I logged on after several months of inactivity and went through a rapid search of everyone I knew back at NG. He basically told me NG broke like a month ago and that was the end of that.

I decided to start a new life as a thf, and didn't recreate my character as that would've been a complete waste of time and started out as a thf. Somewhere in the transitions from import to NA, my name got lost somewhere. Some still remember me from NG and would give me a /t but as the game progressed, this occured less and less often. Eventually, somehow, I became known as more of an NA player than an importer because my lvl and rank practically spells out "NA."

Yes, I remember when sey was noob in NG. He took a better path than I did as a blm/whm instead of my war/whm. I also distinctly remember drako already farming rams. Sharkie was the first person to support me in that game as well, he gave me around 500 gils back then. I threw away my adventurers cupon because I had no clue which button was trade and what not. I also remember partying with nadyex or however you spell his name back in la thiene/valk days. I even remember that one time we had a whole party with tails and we went hunting for tumbling truffle, my first NM hunt.

Yea, I pertty much did regret my decision to take such a long break. It seperated me from what former NG members are now. I never really got a chance to know any of these people long enough to have my name set in stone on their minds. I could've still been in this "tight" import community, but people have chosen to look at me as just another NAer now.

I really didn't mind you/herodrink/the rest of the people that we kind of hated before, I don't hold anything against you now either [ecko you're still a bitch, don't talk to me, a few others are still gay bums] and it wasn't bad hunting hakutaku eyes wasn't it? I'm not one to hold grudges unless the other person has a case of penis-in-the-mouth and acts like a douche past present and future. You're ok in my book.
