Aldo, I wish I read your post before. I did 5 of the stones yesterday. I thought I was finished. When I looked in my inventory, I noticed that I was missing 2. I could have sworn that I was finished A good thing is that the Fire one is done. Ifrit one was very very tough. Sigh, I need to redo Wind and Light.

I feel your pain Tomoh. I had the exact same thing happen to me. Thankfully I wasn't the only person in the shout to have this happen. So we all took the time to get the ones everyone was missing. They should fix it.. It's a nasty little bug.

Don't forget to do the easy additional quests where you get items by trading simple items to Elemental Monuments during M5. Many people forgot in the heat of the battle.

Fire
After you pick up the Fire Element, trade Garnet stone to receive Opoopo Necklace.

Wind
Same as above. Trade Rain Lily to obtain Fragilant Rope.

Light
After you finish M6, return to the Monument. You will receive Bat Pierce

The above 3 quests which are given to you automatically are claasifed under Other quests like the Mog expansion.

I told the alliance to buy these items before hand and many still forgot. Others simply failed to trade the item.

Just want to point this out to save anyone the mistake - this is totally wrong. You absolutely must trade the Unlit Lanterns to the Alter at D/E-5 on the map that you entered on from the Paintbrush Door. We made the mistake of taking them to the other Alter and they became Lit Lanterns with the prefix of Crimson and would not trade to the Lanterns to open the Gate. Of course we then had to hunt another four Lanterns and lost a good few hours to such a silly and unfair mistake. Still, getting Asklepios made up for all the lost time ^-^.

Ops.. my mistake sorry ><; I have never traded my lantern with the other altars thus leading to the stupid conclusion that all altars are the same. Guess this is why there is a need for that brush. Hmmmm now why didn't i think of that earlier...
