there's a way to tweak bcnm drops some of us here know. That's why raise III went from 1 mil to 150k in about 2 weeks all of a sudden after being over a mil for many months. Word spread and people started to do it. Don't expect Erase and Phlanx to be that expensive for long either.

If its the trick I'm thinking of, that really works Seymour? Yay, now if my BC group wasn't running out of seals faster than we could get them, we could finally get a phalanx drop for our rdm (16 wins and no phalanx yet). I'm guessing this is why erase dropped from 400k to 360k/370k as well.

I think there's a limit to the trick. One day I did it with 8 people and we got:
crap(didn't force anything)>died>phlanx>erase>erase>erase>phlanx>died
We forced Blink2, Refresh, Absorb-Str. Leaving up Erase, Phlanx, and Fire Pact (didn't even know about that one)

A few days later we did it again with a different set of people there were many.... We got:
crap(Got fire pact)>died>no spells>no spells>phlanx>no spells>erase>no spells>no spells
We forced Blink2, Refresh, Absorb-Str, Fire Pact (after we got it) leaving open Phlanx and Erase.

We all know that bc40 is a 20% chance of no spell drops. My conclusion is that the more spells you force the higher % the no spell drop rate will be. That's really all I can think of. It's not a fact or anything. I'm going to bc40 again this weekend and going to make it so we all leave open 3 spell slots instead of 2 and i'll see how it works.

Vermillion Cloak went down a lot also i think it was over 3million awhile back went down to 2.5mil around last week looks like it's going back up though, and i was so close. :mad:

I was talking about Erase. I know how much Phalanx rocks, I actually want to level RDM up to sub standard so I can have Phalanx when soloing and stuff.

Yeah, Erase is really nice to have but it isn't totally neccessary. If I were a whm I probably wouldn't spend the 400k, either. Well, not until higher levels when I have moeny to blow ^^
