Gatts make sure u do the Tonberry hate reset quest, Or you may face some serious trouble. The quest is in Norg. BTW rancor/ugg is confusing, I hope you have someone that knows exactly where to go because I got lost without Devilchan guiding the pt to the BC area. And aggros are bad in leding towards the area, make sure u have invis and sneak potions. Careful of Titan's special in the BC area ^^.

thanks nady. can you give some details on how to complete the quest? such as quest giver and what i need to do (probably already have the quest accepted, just havn't found translation for it yet). also, can anyone tell me what i need to do to get a lantern? it would be nice to take my own. thanks again.

Count me in for ZM4 but, like Gatts, I don't have the latern or know about the hate reset quest - I don't think I could go without reseting it lol.

Well, IF you fought tonberrys then u need to definitely do the hate reset quest, IF you havent u cant accept the quest. The quest is in norg u need to trade 3 gold coins which is like 30k+. If u didnt fight tonberrys then u should have no hate at that time. If u have u need to fight or else the move "Everyones Grudge" will hurt bad. I died in one hit since I didnt do the quest, but that was when i was helping someone for coffer. I did m4 before i had much hate plus i didnt fight , the fighters fought i was healing ^^. TO get a lantern u need to go from rancor>UGG and fight coffer key tonberrys for lantern. You need a pt to kill them.

Gatts give me a tell in game , I will tell you i forgot the name but i can look on my quest list.

BUT ur main problem is really getting LOST. UGG is a huge map to get lost in. Also Rancor's map is a big place to get lost. And getting lose in those 2 areas is not fun. Aggros like crazy and will get you killed fast. Stick together and take care of your own invis/sneak. Know the map if u can cuz there is many ways of getting lost there.

I don't need a lantern yet, but since you're fighting tonberries that drop ugg keys, I will join.
Just let me know whenever you're doing it.

oh, and takato will probably want to go to (lv69 summoner without full AF :sweat: )

thanks nady, i completed the quest. now we have me, russta, miya, and possibly takato. i know a few other people who would be willing to go so i'll just set a time: Friday 7:00 pm EST. Please meet in jeuno then. If russta or miya have problems with that time, let me know and we can move it to sometime saturday. however, i have plans saturday night starting at 7pm EST. we will be going to uggalepih to get 2-3 lanterns and a coffer key for at least takato... haha. also, anyone else who would like to join please post here. you need to be at least lv55 to go.

Dunno if this still works or not, but after you get your lanterns and hate-reset done - anytime you fight a Tonberry and don't want hate added, call for help before it dies. I think everyone in the PT that kills a Tonberry gets some hate added unless someone calls for help.

do you have to do that quest every time you want to reset hate, or does it reset automatically when you zone after you have done the quest?
