They're PT config is the kind that needs it. No refresh, no ballad 2, I'd be scared shitless. Still, if your bard's good, it shouldn't be a hassle. And mnk is probably the best sub for war I've ever seen. Sam sub is overrated. Also, BC monsters are never totetote; tote at most. Hitting shouldn't be that big a problem. If you're missing consistently in a BC fight, there's something wrong w/ your equips.

I'd recommend a pair of sniper rings. They pwn

I used to get stuck with bards that panic in the middle of the battle :sweat: As long as the pld gathers the enemies well, the bard shouldnt have a problem, just make sure brd has lots of Chr ++ equips. Enemies are like raku/choudo types to the level.

Uhh that has nothing to do with the PT config^^. Refresh is lv41, and Ballad2 is 50+... this is a BC40 fight^^

We're definately guna try to do it without the 2 hours once.. otherwise we're just guna be sitting around for a long time between fights. I think i got a pretty good strat worked out in my head, we'll see how it goes^^

And may I just add, it was f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s. I'll make a list of all the drops at the end.. but in this one we got both Refresh and Phanlayx(sp). Hopefully they'll all be this good^^

At the day break we have won all three of the three we did today, tommorow at least another three. I thought they made this harder or something, Sharkie, a Taru BRD, takes like 70-100 damage from 8 MNK Mandragoras all hitting him at once. Seriously, it's like free money for a little effort and, aside from the BRD dying which won't happen, the worst thing that can happen has (flood) and we survived it no problem. The second fight we even did without a single 2hr ability. So far, so good.

Wow thats crazy. Did the BC fight get easier? B/C we had almost the exact same setup as you and we lost 3 times. ;;

2 bards doesnt make for a good show, and thief isnt really too good in BCNM....

ideal setup for me is: monk, pld, samurai (or ninja, drk), rdm. whm brd, or just 6 bst...

I haven't tried yet but one good way of getting around flood is having ninja use blink ninjutsu then taunting the mando as its casting flood. also ninja's level 2 ninjutsu is pretty powerful (can do 80-100 damage depending on INT and skill) so if ninja takes a couple of each (water, fire, ice) and uses them wehen available, could be an easy victory....

Actually, they made it harder:p My team just has the uberness working for them, in both strategy and skill. /gloats

I don't think you can change it's target once it's started casting, though.
