    Question about BCNM....

    I've got several questions on 2 BCNMs.

    BCNM 99 (Im not sure but this will be changed to BCNM 60 after patch right?)

    Yughott

    I heard that a lvl 59 PLD sword drops here which i really want. But also, i was wondering what are the other known items to drop in this BCNM.
    And if you can, describe the battle or tips for battles you used to win it.

    BCNM 50

    Of all the known BCNM 50 areas, which yeilds the highest rewards in terms of gil.

      They are all the same. The only difference may be the amount you invest. Yughott is easy for a bunch of BSTs, Palborough is easy for a bunch of RNGs. It seems the reward is based on how quickly you finish it. If you do it in 15 mins, you could be looking at in excess of 500k reward.

      If you sell Refresh/Phalanx/Erase midweek you get a lot more than selling them at the weekend I wonder if these fights will change with the patch, though.

        BCNM 99 is easy, but one mistake can cost you to lose.
        In 99, brd takes most of the aggro next to the fighters.
        The mages esp the whm hardly ever get hit. If brd dies, you will die most likely. Yugudo drinks are needed and high ethers just in case. But if u use high ethers which you dont want to use, then must tell ur pt u are using so someone else can heal. High ethers are used when you are in trouble. It takes a long time to use it, so its not recommended. Each nm will use their 2hour ie invisible, goddess blessing etc... you must be prepared when those things are being used. Usually if you have good players you can easily win it.

        5-0-0 for bcnm 99 for me =)

          Darick: Oh the sword is now 200K?! Saves me a lot of BCNM coins ^^ Last time i saw it, it was on for 2 mil and i really want that sword, just have to come up with gil now, and i can finally put my BCNM coins to good use

          Jonnyram: Good tip ^^ I'll have to keep that in mind. How much do those go for nowadays? I'm afraid i've been away for quite some time and i don't know how the economy is :sweat:

          Nadyxes: Oooo nice winning streak. Maybe I'll be organising a BCNM 99 (or 60 as it will be known in a few weeks) after i reach 60 and perhaps if you were free, you could help me?

          Just out of curiousity, would anyone be interested in a BCNM in a few weeks time (or less depending on how fast i reach 60)? I could use the gil

            A few things:

            1. Palborough lv40 BCNM is NOT easy for a bunch of RNGs. (It's not easy for any combo really.)

            2. Don't think the speed of the fights have anything to do with the results. We had a few fights ended more than 20minutes but it still gave really good drops.

            3. Quadav BCNM99 is easy. Orcs are ok. Yagudos are hard. Make sure you pick the right one

            BTW, if you're giving an advice, let people know if *you heard* something vs if you've *experienced* something. The last thing Leon needs is some unconfirmed info :sweat:

              I'll help ya, of course.

              When I reach 60 though I really need to level up my bow skill, cuz for things like bcnm I want to sub ranger for my samurai so I can do a madd amount of sidewinders.
              4 in a row baby!
              I just need 210k for lv50 hq bow (TT)
              and I don't feel like spending almost all my attack gloves money on a bow

                Musashi: Hey! I'll be back in game in 2 days. Wow lvl 50 sam O_o guess we can lvl together maybe And you'll be the first to know when i plan to do a BCNM.

                Anyways, What makes the Quad BCNM much easier then the Yags? Is it the Yags are able to cast more defensive and offensive spells?

                Any other ppl wanting to join a BCNM 99 in a few weeks time?

                    You're right... I should have been more clear The BCNMs are a nightmare (from experience) and I don't recommend them easily.

                    I *heard* it was easier for a bunch of RNGs. I unintentionally said easy before. None of the BCNMs are easy, per se, but there are some situations that make them easier than other situations. From *experience* I know that Yughott is easier with BSTs.

                    Quadav BCNM99 is easy. Orcs are ok. Yagudos are hard.
                    Maybe you should say "easier" too. From what I've read a lot of people still lose this fight, and any fight that is lost by one mistake cannot be called easy It must be hell when Ninja uses 2hr on your party, but if you're in a good situation, I'm sure it's recoverable. Lots of parties recover from Flood in the Giddeus BCNM too.

                      i think team work is the issue and be able to trust ur teammate and also of course they must be doin their work
                      <organization and communication is a big issue in these kind of fights> ppl usually panic and not doin their job well which make teammate suffer... keepin the brd alive is the main job
                      -also plz dont argue during fight, do that before the fight-
                      if brd dies....battle will be most likely to be over...except the whm put reraise on him/herself and is far away enough...but that chance of winnin is still slim...
                      DONT LET BRD DIE!

                        i read on some boards that when doing yagudos, leave ninja till last, have everyone fight at full hp and wear fire resist EQ + fire resist songs/magic, then should be able to withstand the explosion easy,

                        still wanna test that out sometime ^^


                        btw, i thought BCs with bsts r the funnest fights EVER, rather than the normal tactics that u fight with, u actually get to run around doing something different (for me it was the same coz i went as pld/war with 4 other bsts), but i enjoyed it as much as everyone else did ran like 10x in a row sometime ago n did each one within 15min, definitely as easy as turtles, if not easier
