Hello everyone.
I picked FFXI up a few months back but stopped playing after about a week or so because I didn't know anybody and got rather stuck >.<
Anyways, recently a friend of mine said he was considering picking the game up and asked if i'd like to start from scratch with him, I jumped at the chance being a massive FF fan.
Anyways, everythings good, we started at the weekend and we're both currently lvl 4. I'm a TaruTaru Black Mage and he's an Elvaan Warrior. We both started in Bastok after trying out both Windurst and San D'oria and finding out they weren't to our liking so much. Obviosly we payed the price of not starting with our home Nations ring but we're managing ^^,
Well to the point, as I said we're both new to the game and are looking for a friendly Linkshell to join, we don't expect handouts or anything like that, takes away from the game experience, but what we would like is some help if we get lost, maybe if people could answer our questions as we unocver more and more of the world of Vana'diel and of course when we're higher levels for people to quest with too.
So, if you'd like to have us in your community then let me know
Couple of things to note, we're both mature, i'm 20 years old and he's 18 so we'd really like a nice mature community to join, we're also very open minded. We play on the 360 but that hardly matters since the game is cross-platform, but if any 360 players would like to add me on XBL then thats fine, my Gamertag is Strite and my friends Gamertag is LuciUSA.
We are from the U.K, so timezones may be an issue, but I usually play unsual hours anyways my friend is more predictable in his playing hours, GMT.
Our server is obviously Odin which is why i'm posting this in the Odin section and our in-game names are: Strite and Lucifon.
