New Players

I havnt really noticed that many new players on the servers. I mean.. it's obvious that they are there but from what I hear about other servers is that they got alot more people.


Anyone know why Bahamut got less new people? Also, since this place is so dead, are there any new PS2 Bahamutians? (Is that even a word?)

Yes, there are new PS2 players. I've been doing my part to keep them quiet and explaining simple things so they won't shout and annoy ppl and get "n00b" stamped on their foreheads.

From what I can tell, I'm not the only one. A small number of beta players jumped onto to Bahamut, and it really is just like riding a bike.

I'm sure a lot of new players came to Bahamut, but it seems like they all had friends there already. So you've seen them, you just haven't heard them, and that's what really matters, isn't it.

I'm a new player; I just started the other day. To be completely honest, the first view hours consisted of me running around and getting lost in the residential area. Although I didn't have a keyboard at that time...the wireless one I bought was almost seventy dollars and didn't even work. I finally got one, and everyone that I have encountered seem pretty nice! Most of the people didn't speak english though...they did cast a lot of support spells on me. Thanks! One person gave me 30,000 gil!! Which is a lot to a level 4 thief mind you...at least to me it is.

Anyways, nice meeting you all here. I hope we can all get acquainted and help each other along the way!

everyone so quick to lebel somone noob for spamming now everyones afraid to shout for a tele or help at all caue they get "wah quit spamming noob" shouted right back at em... i liked it when bastok was full of new players all shouting for like dragon help or a tele or a npc locatioin it realy gave me the feel of like market place kinda like lower jueno but without the casinos (now those can get outa hand with spam) also i understand the need for qquiet places like ru lude but in like bastok markets? let em shout i say its a mmo talking to people is what is all about if you dontn like it just filter it out ^^
btw if you couldnt tell i dunno how to quote yet.

I just started playing a little over a week ago. I have a friend on the server who is a lvl 74 so I get plenty of help :/. I think I've done rather well in less than 2 weeks time: got my mnk up to lvl 21 and my warrior up to lvl 13.
