Hello new to the forum

been playing ffxi for sometime now, decided to take a long break and wanna come back.
but i heard the game is dying is this true? i hope not ffxi can be sometimes boring but its better then most online games minus the drama and other stuff i guess.

either way i wanna start playing again hopefully things haven't changed much. and hopefully the game isnt dying :'(

The game is not dying. No MMORPG really dies unless the company shuts down the servers. FFXI is about as close to that as the original Everquest, which is to say, its alive, well and people are still playing it.

In fact, new people join the game every day and the high level population is still quite packed.
