NIN/BLM, with elemental staves, gear and food, can go through thet Elemental wheel doing over 1k of damage a second on NI spells.

1k damage per second is impressive considering the casting time on Elemental Ni spells and their base damage. I think you might want to check your figures.

Honestly, since I solo for Seals and piddly EXP while I'm Skilling up Dagger, I only use damage WS when I get links I need to handle, or LS Member calls for my services. I've been doing these Skill Up/EXP runs on Crab mobs. So meanwhile I can almost hit 400dmg witha 300% TP Cyclone, I can also get 88MP back from Energy Steal or Energy Drain. I've actually taken to using this, following it with an Aspir for a pretty good amount of MP back.

Lately my zone dujour has been Toraimarai Canal. Crabs and Scorps. Where I'm fighting I couldn't Cyclone, but Gust Slash isn't bad against them either. It's also not a bad place to level your NPC.

So that's almost 300 damage done in 21 seconds, in addition to Cyclone for 150-250. Wierd thing about Cyclone, it's damage seems to be consistent no matter what you fight. Fast Blade from my RGF did 239 when I had Misericorde in sub on a Too Weak, but only 59-120 on Robbers in Kuftal ><. Cyclone seems to do consistent damage no matter what I fight, granted it's EM and under. . .

yea, seriously whats with the taru hate STILL. most people have enough experience now to know better. i had a 5 taru, 1 hume pt last night in gc. one of the nicest pts ive had in a long time. war/nin x2, mnk (me), thf, rdm, brd. raked in 13k in 2 hrs at ~lv. 34. when everyone knows what to do, it doesnt matter what you are.

i love how they keep attacking you for 0. i mean, dont they think hmm, its not working i should do something else productive than atk the rdm...?
