2 Selfrenkei Sam videos

This is the most widely used Sam selfrenkei out there...
Distortion Selfrenkei from Tachi: Enpi > Tachi: Enpi

After that we have another one not as widely used, Enpi > Kagero

I've made a Liquefaction video as well, and I'll do Detonation and scission as soon as I get jinpu. (Jinpu = lvl 49)

Any questions regarding macros for selfrenkei, circumstances needed for them, and/or timing issues will be gladly discussed, just holler. Here or on ragnarok.

I'll try to cough up enough to register Fraps, and do some nicer editing, if you like the one you saw. Working on some uber timing for Fusion selfchain... It happened once in a blue moon...

Distortion Selfrenkei 3.6mb, use "save as".

Liquefaction Selfrenkei 2.7mb, use "save as".

can u explain to me how meditate works. i thought it jus gave 100 TP, i didnt kno it raised TP like a refresh :confused:

Meditate, and timing

Meditate does give 100tp, yes, but not instantly.
You know, that would be too easy.

Instead, you get 20tp about every 2 seconds. )It's a little more then 2 sec between the "clicks".)
That means that to renkei with yourself within the time window of weaponskills, you only gain 60tp from meditate.

So you need to come up with 40 tp on your own...
Hard? Not really. First skill, enpi = 25.
Then you have to time the ws o you get one swing between the first skill and the second one. Thats 13 more... 38.

This is the last and most frustrating bit tho, now you are at 98% tp. You need 2 itsy bits more, until you get tp store III. Where? Well, you have to get the mob to hit you. Getting hit = 2tp.

so 25+13+2 = 40. That way you can selfrenkei.
PM me about timing issues if you have any, since I shouldn't waste a lot of board space with lengthy explanations for one person. This is knowledge that everyone can use though ^^

but guys for all u just reading this now, you cannot self-renkei /w sam untill u have the AF hat and double atk. I havent done it myself, but i have friends who say it is EXTREMELY hard to selb-renkei now, but very possible

didnt you watch the videos?

besides why are you saying you cant do it until you have double attack and the hat? youve never done it and say your friends claim its extremely hard. they prolly arent even sams.

the thread is from before the patch, and serpicatha is unable to self-renkei now if he hasnt got some horrendous luck getting a double attack inbetween the weaponskills. not sure if even that nets him enough tp though..
