3vix Plugin Problem

Ok I see alot of posts that say you must have 3vix to watch the video file. Ok I downloaded the plugin and I want to watch it in my Windows Media Player 9 Series for Windows ME. Ok how do I get this plugin to play in WMP9 instead of Quicktime?

Tell quicktime to not open .avi .mpeg files
