Shadow mantle obtained! pic inside

The dynamis linkshell that I am in Dynamisbums beat Dynamis Lord. I didn't get any good pics of him I was dead half the time. He droped 100 shell and Shadow mantle. I won the lot on Shadow mantle here is a picture



The thing is pertty nice in my short test of it seemed to null damage on average 20% of the time. And on darksday it adds +20 vit which is nice for any pld. We became the first NAs on Phoenix to beat Dynamis Lord and get one of these mantles. It took a lot of work beating him but finally did it.

With that mantle on Darksday.... you won't need full Koenig for VIT+99! Absorbing dmg 20% of the time doesnt sound that bad, although I think it should've been more like 70%... Dynamis Lord is hard and the items should be more rewarding!

what's the log say when it annuls damage?

It just says they get hit for zero.

The strategy we used was all the meele got 300% with sleep potions + opo opo necklace to use Spirits Within or a stronger WS if they have them. At the start we had about RDM/DRK use chainspell stun one right after another. The meeles run up use their 300% TP to WS him then use icarus wing to get 100 more tp and WS him again. Blms nuked him too. Then the meeles would get far away from him to sleep for another round of TP. After all the rdms were done we used plds to go in and tank him some with invincible and used spirits within. Everone was using rerasie items so if someone died they could raise back up. After enough damage he will die.

For the mantel it just says whatever hits you for 0 points of damage when it works. I tested it some more sometimes it works a lot while othertimes it doesn't kick in that often. The rate that it works is really random.
