Yeah, I've seen that too. It's an indirect advertisement though from "Favgames.com" advertising one of the group of games they have accounts and currency they are selling. It's a damn sale and trade site like IGE.

Kyoto work on your grammer and spelling, you scare the crap out of me.

I dunno...I checked your spelling and grammar, and you obviously spell like a third-grader. Even worse is that the only form of punctuation you seem to understand is the period, which you use sparingly, as-is.
Yep, the adservers aren't controlled by the site. There's something that gathers information on the site and displays the most profitable ads that relate to the topic. :dead: It really sucks!!
Yep, business. But why to post advertisement of one game on another's game site? It could be toasters or cosmetic, but why to steal the audience from the game? It's becoming kinda competition which is better. I understand everything, but highly dislike this.
FF Spazz that isn't quite correct. The ad space is controlled by an outside source from FFXIOnline. It's just that the ad space gets the site money for having it there. The third party that controls the ads determines the value of the ads to display by value and topic that their spiders (Much like a search engine does) determines are good for show on this site.
Unfortunatly the spiders don't discriminate between the ads it has so if it see a webspace with it's ad section on it and determines it to be a topic of games then any ads they have of games is displayed. Even if the site or select group on the site is against that idea or even if the ad is for a competitor of the game the site is about.

Personally, im not gona be fake with you so...,
if you dont like it then donate to ffxionline.com and shut your mouth, so they dont have to revert to getting companys adverts on these forums (which some of those companys may be ones you dont share similar views with ( IE Wow, or Gil sellers etc. )
But if you have already donated and you feel honestly that you have done your part, then sorry if that was kinda harsh  , maybe we can get Ping to control the type of adverts shown from certain companys and what not.

With the resolution of that image going down to such a point I could guess that the "of" that's suppose to be in there was just small or got lost. It could of been an intentional thing to still give enough that it can refferenced and leave it to the peoples mind to make an assumption that there is an "of" in there.
It's a bit of a sloppy way to do IMO though, but even when you look at that site's page it isn't all that artistic either, pretty much looks like a basic standard template you can get from any web development company.

Well, it's not that I don't like it, I just thought it's weird. o.Oa

It's absolutely true and logically right. But what to do if me, for example, unable to play several games at the same time, so always must choose one. And if I like WoW (tried, nothing special, FF is nicer ) I'll leave FFXI. That's the cost of advertisement...
