Not really, it's actually quite boring. You pay 80 gil to go around on a small raft, it's a complete waste of 10-15 minutes. There isn't even that much to look at, that's the sad part. The same for Carpenter's Landing ... Sofar, I'm unimpressed with both of those zones.

Carpenters Landing

it's actually divided into 3 zones, so it's rather large


there is a ferry ride that takes you through the canals to each zone


there is an entrance to this area in northern san doria, but the ferry is "out of service" at that entrance, and the map is sold at the person by the fountain in norther SD

I heard Carpenter's Landing is a decent alternative to Valkurm Dunes to level in (10ish to 20ish) does that sound right?

maaan, i dunno how old this is but who cares i think those screen shots where awsome u guys....maybe im jas easily impressed but so what...I cant wait teh be high enough a lvl teh go see bibiki w/e bay so as long as its got good fishin spots nice scenery an a ocasional monster to beat the snot out of its all good lol.

Um... there is an alternitve to Valkrum... its called Koroloko or something TUnnel. Or Buburimu.

Same with Qufim, and Kazham you DON"T have to level there.

Screw fishing, I wish SE would ad some places that you could swim in. And you could get gear to inprove your swimming skill like flippers and snorkels. That would make an awsome expansion.

I dont know if carpenters would be good for leveling at 10. I don't know what level the mobs there are but I do know that you have to go through Jugner to get there.

actually, there is an exit/entrance in north san doria

there aren't many mobs there

and the ferry service doesn't allow you to board there for some reason, but the ferry does arrive and drop people off so they can exit into north san doria
