Double attack did'nt kick in there

penta thrust = 12 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 (16 tp full hit)
normal hit = 12
bee hitting me = 2
16 + 12 + 2 = 30 tp

the point of the ss was not even the penta thrust cause the double attack ones did 1800ish dmg... the point was the "Attack" rating due to buffs from brd and stuff

About the Vouivre fight, we were hunting Wyvern Skulls the other day and got him to pop. We pretty much owned it with 8 members: 2x whm (75 and 63), 1x rdm (75), 1x pld (75), 1 blm (me), 1 drk (75), 1x rng (75), and a 72 brd.

We just outlasted it. Since it has no 2hr and doesn't do anything besides the normal wyvern stuff, we owned it. The key is to keep the mages away from the lame AOE stuff and just pound him to death. At one point we even had a bomb aggro and took care of that mid-battle : P

I'm still trying to figure out how you got 900 + attack without monk sub. . . warcry doesn't give that much.

It's not that hard really with bard songs, esp. if the bard used soul voice. I can get my attack almost to 800 by myself with /war, throw in soul voiced minuets and I can cap at 999 easily. The only extra buff I can use over any other melee class is last resort, so any 75 melee could probably get at least 900.

You're a dark. And bard's aren't minueting 300 + attack even with soulvoice. Even with 2 minuets up.

Actually, the fly hit you before you used Penta Thrust. The 2 TP from its hit was used, meaning Double Attack must have activated twice during the WS. . .

i think you mean it showed up in the log before

His/her TP return was calculated when he used the WS. Meaning, when "Zihn readies Penta Thrust." showed up. That hit from the bee was added to the TP return that was already calculated because it showed up after the readies message.

Happens a lot, believe it or not.

the ss was souly to showcase the 926 attack, if i wanted to showcase some big numbers ws i would have posted random ss of the 18xx dmg penta thrusts that i did several times in the same BC (with 7xx attack)

the most funn part was me and the drk do skillchain where the bee used polem right after first ws so it was at 97% hp or so when i pumped out ws, the ws did double attack for 18xx dmg + 9xx gravitation skillchain dropped the bee from 95% hp to 2% instantly or so
