    lol, thats japaneese buddy.
    Meaning the program is in japaneese, and no you did nothing wrong so don't worry.
    You have to use the program in japaneese so good luck finding the armors you wanna use on the program and weapons.

      That is Japanese but you are not currently running the JPN language on your computer..

      This will fix that.. Then try Unzipping it again (i used winzip) unzip it into your FFXI folder and run it.. ^_^ should work from there

        now when you say ffxi folder do you mean the playonline viewer folder or just the squaresoft directory?

        other than that i installed the language support and its showing it in actual japanese characters now instead of english, last but not least it keeps saying it cant find the specified files which i believe are the .mcd model files.

          C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI

          in this folder you need 2 more folders (create these)
          C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\List
          C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\Backup

          i didnt know where the correct files went.. so i just unziped the file into all 3 spots (yes i put copy's into all three areas) and mine works perfectly... lol

            Any way to turn off the ranged weapon so it isn't between the legs all the time?

              still not working, keeps saying file path not found, and ive searched evrywhere for the model files manually
