It stops when it links with a Sabotender. I was leveling Greatsword and hunting Dune Widow with a WHM who was level 53 at the time; the WHM jokingly attacked a Sabotender, Rapido ran by and one-shotted him for 600 dmg, and kept on running.75DRK (deleted after a year and three months)/37THF/37WAR/37NIN/37WHM/

10,000 Damage split amongst all people surrounding him. So in an alliance of 18, each person would take 555 damage. By the time you can fight him, all job/race combos have at least that much hp. I imaging it's still a really tough fight though.10000 damage aoe? So he is impossible to defeat?Comment

Add to that pets (DRG, BST, SMN), they take a share of damage too. If I ever fight him, odds are I'll have carbuncle attacking him along with an alliance.
526 damage then! Also, however many DRGs with Wyverns...
Doh, now I want to kill him. I didn't think of attacking another cactuar though, I'll probably avoid fighting cactuars now.Generic Info!

As a matter of fact you are in luck, its an easy fight if done right and you have an amazing video card :p. All of our members sub BST and SMN so have the dmg devided between everything, thats why you see all the random pets around.
