Going insane trying to register.

Hi all, my anme is Emmanuel.

I'm from Argentina (South America)

Im having issues with the registration...first..when it asks for your country of residence..well I dont live in either the Unitated States or canada...so...is it an issue if I tell it I live in the UNited States? It didnt seem to give me any error when on the next step I filled the thing with my own personal info...

Then it asks which country I live in (again? O.O) but this time it lets me choose my country 8Argentina) so I do so.

Now this is the biggest issue.

I own a visa (well my dad does) I have had no problem using it with paypal...but it keeps telling me my credit card number is wrong....

any help is appreciated. Sorry for the wall of text.

It's been a while since I registered but as long as the card is international you shouldn't have any problems. It doesn't make a difference if you put US the first time you get asked (I chose Canada even though I live in Mexico. )

The best thing I can suggest for you is to do is try chatting with someone from support at the POL official site, here.

Go to Service&Support > Web Chat.

They can probably give you the help you need.

BTW, how do you know if your card is international?

Most of them say it right on the card, but if it doesn't say anything you might want to check with the bank just in case.

If it isn't international then you'll need to get another card.

By the way debit cards are also accepted and are easier to get, so as long as you have funds by the end of the month you wont have problems (as long as it is international.)

I'm from Puerto Rico, I told Square I live in the exact same address I actually live in (zip code and all) except in Florida.

They haven't busted me yet.

Agh! This is pissing me off!

the web chat helper couldnt do anything to help ym case...

I tried registering an account with my mother's visa international card and I keep getting the same error message!

Do I have ot go to the bank and ask for help? is there like a "lock" you need to have removed for this kind of things? It's driving me insane!

Wasn't there someone posting recently that was getting invalid credit card errors, and it turned out they just had to wait a day and try again? Trying to find the thread, but I can't seem to get it.

Yeah I was just reading about that...I will try again tomorrow...but later today I will ask the bank if I need to give authorization to use the credit card for international affairs.

I wa sjust reading that some credit cards (mostly visa) had had some privacy issues so a request for authorization to use was needed....
