Is there anyway to get your FFXI characters back from an account even if you havent played it in a year or something?

POL has some limited character recovery processes. You'd probably need your old POL ID and all of the character info.

Did you delete them? If you didn't, they are probably still there. If you did delete them, then you can try this link. The Campaign is over, but if you meet the requirements listed, you should still be able to get your character back.

Yeah I agree you will need all the POL info including your FFXI codes, and it could take up to 7-10 days for it to be restored.

but the number at the bottom of this page.. is that how i contact them? if so.. is it an american number? im from the UK and i tried speakin to those online chat representitives of playonline or whatever which was an american.. and they said i have to get the european one.. =[

Yeah go to PlayOnline.com and click on European that should solve everything, then you go under contact information if there's a problem I forget how to get to it, same way you went to find the American number and under there should be all European information here is the link for you:
