Buddy Pass Question

My friend gave me his buddy pass and I started playing. I'm assuming that after the 30 free days I have to go out and buy the actual game. my question is do I have to start a completely new account? or Can I upgrade the account I got from the buddy pass?

no, you can continue playing on the same account. you just have to start paying. you don't even have to buy any additional stuff if you are happy with the base version of the game (but you will miss out on a lot of stuff).

just a fyi: read the payment terms carefully. they charge every month, not every 30 days. if you don't want to get charged for next month, cancel before the current month ends. the same goes for the free 30 day trial. even if your 30 days goes into the middle of next month, if you haven't canceled by the end of this month, they will charge you on the start of next month for the remainder of the month (days in month - free trial days)
