Where are the settings for recieving E-mail notifications?

    Where are the settings for recieving E-mail notifications?

    Because I hardly ever use my E-mail account (much less for checking if somebody posted on a forum which I regular, anyways), when I do have to use my E-mail account (usually to send a family member something of some sort), I find my Inbox flooded with at least ten Pages of "Blahblahblah has just replied to 'What's your pet peeve?'" and similarly generated E-mails.

    So, to be blunt, how do I turn off E-mail notifications?

    user cp > edit options.

      Sorry for the necro, but I have "No Email Notification" set as my default setting, and I'm still getting E-Mails for a few threads.

      Granted, it's not as much, but I don't think I should be getting these at all . . .

        Hmm, well to really wipe the slate you could go to your subscriptions and delete all of them. If you've got it set to no email notification, that should do it though.
