adding merit points

Greetings,

I often see in people search comments, how many merits they have for said job. What Im curious about, is what #s are commonly used for said total? For example, I have str capped, so does that count at 5 meirt points, or would I count all the points spent on the way, so making for a total of 28?

I'm used to seeing it as the total number of points spent.

Really? My buddy and I both go buy the number of modifications, not points used (e.g. I have 17 upgrades in total in various areas so I say 17. In actuallity I've used around 40 I think)

Hmm good question, although I *think* the concensus is total merits, not upgrades. Like I saw this one WAR with 126. Doubt that's upgrades somehow.

I think my /seacom is screwed anyhow. I only just realised that after typing in all this convincing stuff, not sure if people can see it, becuase I ceetainly cant on my other char I'm borrowing after I do a /sea on myself (from the other char).
