No, Utsusemi will overwrite blink. If you cast blink while Utsusemi is on you'll get "no effect" message. If you cast Utsusemi while blink is on you'll lose blink and gain utsusemi.
Edit: which is why many smns don't bother with aerial armor when all the DDs start subbing nin. Blink won't effect anyone but the smn and whm/rdm -

Really? I know that the spell Blink does not overwite utsusemi, from trying it as whm/nin.
Thats really odd unless Aerial Armor is different from the spell in it's activation rate or something. Just like earthern ward and that PLD job ability will not overwrite whm's stonger stoneskin. I'll have to do some testing.Comment

Doubtful. I used to do quest with a SMN friend of mine all the time. He had capped Summoning Magic skill and I was 75THF/NIN. The fact that my ninjutsu skill would be the same as a lvl 37NINs and his summoning magic is capped a 75 kind of defeats that theory since it still didnt overwrite.Originally posted by Aeni View PostComment

I don't think so. Promyvion is Lv.30 capped, and the SMN was Lv.75; her Summoning Magic skill should be more than capped in those area. Bunch of us are usually on WAR/NIN, with half level Ninjutsu.Originally posted by Aeni View Post

I can vouch for Itazura and Tokitoki. I've never seen Blink overwrite Utsusemi for anyone, and casting Utsusemi always overwrites Blink.
