Death in FF11

okay. I'm in FF11, medium level (lets say around 15 or so), and have a full inventory. Whoops, guess trying to solo behemoth wasn't a great idea.

So now I'm dead. Now what?

How does FF11 handle dying? Do you drop items on death? If so, how many? Do you lose XP? (I heard 10% to next level but no de-leveling, but wasn't sure) Do you get teleported to the last town you were in, or do you have to walk back as a ghost?

once you die you lose 10% exp you need for next level (like if you need 4000, you loose 400)

when you die you lie on the ground. you can still chat in party and LS. but you can't open menu, search, say or shout.

the game gives you option to go back to home point, if you choose so you'll be right back to your home point with all your equipment. nothing is left behind.

You can got raise only while you are still lieing on the groung. If you got raise, you will be asked if you want to come back to life. if accept you basicly float into the air and stand back on your 2 feet right where your body is. you got 50% exp back. (raise 2 will give back 75%) this can be dangerous if there's some kind of aggressive monsters standing on your dead body.

you will also get raise sickness, which stays for 5 minutes.

you can only lie on the ground dieing for only 1 hour. once time up, you will be sent back to home point.

But isn't there a spell to keep those monsters away for a short while?

there are spells that make monsters unable to detect you. but you can't cast on dead bodies.
if you're not careful the monster can attack you as soon as you are back to life. making you die again.

there's black mage's spell "tracktor" that can move your dead body. 1 way to make a safe raise.
