Game Mech Anyone?
Help, if anyone can please. I have been playing a few months now and have been reading up on the game mechanics among other bits as I have been going along. Getting the basics of magic sorted out wasn’t too bad, at least enough to give me a decent idea of how to gear up whm and blm but melee combat is giving me a bit of a headache and I am getting to the sort of levels where I could really do with understanding it better.
I went through the basics of what all the stats do (attack, accuracy, Str, Dex etc) on ffxilopedia a while back which I am assuming is accurate enough to be going on with and have started looking at combat in more detail now. The only other site I have really found, which I got from a thread here, was this one http://www.freewebs.com/vzx-01/
So two questions really please.
Does anyone have any other links they can recommend as giving good information/discussion on game mech? I understand that it’s possible the information I have is pretty much most of it and that anything more could be trying things out to see what works now but I will take a head start if I can get it.
Now I actually know, roughly, what a Parser is, are they against the ToS? I am guessing yes but you never know and does anyone know where I can get one if they aren’t?
