ffxi crashes when loging in

Whenever i try logging in now right after i select the character and the loading bar goes on for the seccong time the game just crashes and dosent continue to load. It use to do it randomly but now i cant get it to stop it.

anyone have the same problem or can offer advice?

My problem was from FFXI's program fighting with some other program. Unless you did the same thing as me; load up a new program and try to play FFXI but it crashed then I don't think the trashing-the-old-FFXI-files-and-loading-them-again methhod will work for you. Either way, you could just try that I guess... Seems everytime I have a problem now all I need to do is reload the whole thing and it's back to normal!
