ok, noob type question

Greetings all.

I think at one point in time I knew the answer to this, but I cant recall anymore. In the map, one can enter points of interest by use of the purple dot set. If you tab over to another set of options you can see your party's location. The third row over is a set of green dots- none of which are editable. I recall way back in beta seeing an NPC pop up on one of them, but I dont know if it was something I did or what. Anyone know what those are use for?

im quite sure that thats an extra line for alliance members, but im not sure <_< or maybe for PT members

When you start the Game an Npc is added to your green tabs by the person you meet in the first cutscene. I think green markers are just for npcs and you can still add them yourself.
