If they are I haven't seen them yet. I don't even rember seeing them since FFVIII. -
No those two are in all the most recent final fantasy, I just can't remember where they where in XI or X. But I know they where there. So one can confirm this for me later.Comment

In Final Fantasy X, both biggs and wedge are blitzball players you can recruit.
I havent played FFXI yet but i do beleive they were gaurds for one castle. I remember seeing a screenshot of them talking.Comment

Yes they were, the origional disgners of FF6(US) put them in as a tirbute.
I am almost sure that was the first FF they poped up in.
Cid is in nearly every FF as well, and quite often with the last name "Highwind".
If I weren't waiting for a new mobo and processor i would check some of this stuff out myself

I'm pretty sure they weren't in 9 at all.
6 - They went to Narche with Terra at the begenning.
7 - They were members of AVALANCHE
8 - They were soldiers, I can't remember the name of the army. I remember them being in a couple places in the game.
10 - Blitzball players, no appearences in the story.Comment

Yup, the creators are big star wars fans. They call Cid the Yoda of Final Fantasy. ^^Werent both in the original star wars?

yeah, but they were stupid enough to let it slip by in chrono trigger also, (two wrongs dont make a right, right?) so as far as im concerned, Biggs didnt enter the series untill FFVII.
