    this should clear things up

RSE - Race Specific equipments. (obtained through quest)
This are armor specially suited for each of the 5 races and it covers the weakness in each of the race's stas such as MP for Galka and Dex for Elvaan

AF- Artifact armor (obtained through quest)
These are armors that enhances certain job abilties and adds a wide range of stats ranging from strength to vitality for all the different jobs. They can only be obtained through quest and are for the lvl 52-60 range (lvl 40 for weapon).
There is one full suit per job.

JSE - job specific equipment (Most ,if not all crafted)
This is highly controversial as there are armors that only certain classes can use all over the lvl range such as the Samurai's "Ate"
    type armor.
However people generally regard them the high end armor as the JSE.
These are the armor that can only be equipped by ONE job which mainly enhances the job's dominant stats.
Examples are : Demon harness (drk) ,Lord's cuirass (pld) , Demon Cloak (blm)

Relic armor - Apparently regarded as AF2 (dropped)
These are like AF armor with the same purpose in mind (enhancement of job abilities and stats etc )
They are drops obtained only from Dynamis. And they are obtained in their raw state ( ready for equip the moment it is obtained)
No quest is required to obtain them.

Abjuration Armor - refered to Cursed armor
This armor is a pain in the butt.
Basically they are all crafted as cursed upon success and cannot be equipped. A lvl 90+ in the craft is required for all of them.

In order to equip these armors , an abjuration is needed which requires some item obtained as a drop from HNMs which is used to lift the curse so the armor can be used.

That should have answered your question and a little more info than you asked ^^

Hopefully no mistakes to edit :p

just one thing to correct; HNM's drop Abjurations themselves, thus ur sentense is slightly wrong.

also one thing to add for the cursed armors; while the cursed armors r not Rare nor EX, which can be purchased at AH, Abjurations and UNcursed armors r indeed Rare and EX. thus, while u don't have to craft them on ur own, u do have to fight HNM's for Abjurations, which consequently means that HNM fight is required for UNcursed armors.
