RARE item question

I hunt NM for my income sources, namely Stray Mary. I have killed her 3 times in the past 4 days, and all 3 times she has dropped her horn (I am 11 kills for 6 horn drops overall) . I lost one horn due to my being stupid and having another horn (from a previous kill) on me. Dumb, yes. My fault, completely. However, I now have 2 horns, one for sale in the AH, and one on me. This morning, I found out you can sell 2 rare items at a time, as I put up both horns for sale at the Jeuno AH. I quickly took the second horn off of auction, though, just to be on the safe side. I have never run into this situation before, usually a horn will sell before I get another one.

Does this seem right? Is there a chance that I may lose a horn/both horns if they both go back to my mog house if they don't sell? Can I get another horn from her, and put the third up for sale? Or should I get a mule up to Jeuno and sell it there?

Yes, you can, but you cannot carry two at the same time. Often when someone wants to have more than one of the same Rare item, they will list it at the auction house for 999,999,999. You can also have a Rare item in your outbox, and still receive another of that rare item. You cannot however have the Rare item in your inbox and still receive item a second time.

I have no idea what will happen if you are carrying one and another is returned to you from the ah... My guess is that the game won't let you remove it from your inbox, but that's only speculation.
