Where can I buy Flint Stone, and I don't mean the auction house, but a npc store?

I'm in a huge need for flint stones, and have searched every where in my world for them, and bought nearly all the flint stones in every auction house in the world. So I have come to the end of my search, and ask if someone knows where I can find some flint stones, outside of the auction house, but does not require me hunting monsters. I need over 1000 stones, so I can't waste time hunting worms, for the stones.

sorry but... HUNT WORMS! I almost always get Flint Stones when I kill worms. 9/10 times I get FS! If you have a THF at lvl 15 that is. If you dont then ya forget it. I have no idea where u can BUY FS from NPC's since they're such a common drop.

Flint stones are a quest item, you can hand them in repeatedly and get fame and money. As far as I know, there is no quest item whatsoever sold by NPCs in stores. Would be a bit too easy if you could become famous by buying 1000 flintstones in a shop and handing them in.
