Missing Money from AH?

I'd like to know how often these kinds of thing happen...

I checked the Auction House, and 3 items were sold for a total of 4000 gil (Not a huge amount, but still quite significant at my level). I clicked on them to remove them from the list, and place 3 other items to sell in their place.

When I returned to my Mog House to pick up the 4000 gil, it wasn't there. I received in my delivery box two Yagudo Necklaces a friend had sent me, but no gil from the Auction House.

I knew that they couldn't do anything but I was curious, so I called a GM, who answered that since I had cleared the receipt, there was nothing anyone we could do.

The Phoenix server was running quite badly last night, with lag and even a disconnection that happened to me, so I assume this is the cause of the lost money. My question is: Do these kind of things happen often when the server runs badly, or was it purely bad luck that isn't likely to surface again?

as far as my experience is concerned, that kinda thigns never happened, even during the peak period of time. sometimes it takes like a minute for the money/items to show up in the delivery box, especially during the peak period when everything is heavy. but nothing ever vanished.

i'd say it was just a bad luck, and probably won't happen again. well, hopefully, at least. anyways, check ur delivery box again to make sure it's gone. it might be that the server was too busy last time u checked it and that the money didn't show up.

a friend had this happen too! the gm responded and said there was a corrupt file, and he had to reinstall the whole game!! All of his auctions have worked since then, and there was no way for the gm to reimburse him for his loss, so he didnt bother with the hassle of reinstalling/repatching
